DUO SEMPRE represents a duo of two guitarists, winners of numerous guitar competitions Arsen Asanov and Dariya Panasevych. Their performances are characterizing by a high sensitivity, expressiveness and clearness of musical images. Nowadays they are focused on the creation of a new repertoire by transcribing baroque, classical and contemporary masterpieces like clavier music of J.P.Rameau, D.Scarlatti, piano music by C. Debussy, A. Ginastera etc. At the same time, they have a full program composed out of highlights of original guitar duo repertoire, a heritage of such great composers as N. Coste, M. Castelnuovo-Tedesco, L. Brouwer, S. Assad etc. Almost every concert program includes own compositions and it becomes a feature of the Duo.

The first CD "Seven Rings" was recorded at the "Ton- und Video-Studio" in Salzburg and was released in 2014. The new CD "Dramatique", dedicated to Harpsichord music of the 18th century, was recorded at "Hochschule für Musik und Theater" in Hamburg and released by Aliso Records in 2018.


DARIYA PANASEVYCH - classical guitarist, laureate of international guitar competitions and festivals, was born in 1989 in Khabarovsk, Russia, in a family of musicians. She began to play guitar and piano at the age of 7. She received her first guitar lessons at the Music School in Lutsk with her teacher Viktor Mishenin and two years later they won their first guitar competition. Graduate of Volin State College of Culture and Arts (2007), Kyiv National Pedagogical University name of M. P. Dragomanova (2011) in Ukraine. During years of study in Ukraine she took classes with Yuri Fomin, who brought the biggest part to her experience and played a great role in her study. As solo performer she prefers guitar music of XIX century (N. Coste, J. K. Mertz, J. Regondi) and XX century (M. Castelnuovo-Tedesco, M. Ponce, J. Rodrigo etc.). In 2016 she graduated her Masters degree with distinction in the class of professor Marco Tamayo at "Universitat Mozarteum", Salzburg, Austria. During studying period she released a solo album with Russian guitar music (N. Koshkin, S. Rudnev). As a grant holder of the DAAD (German Academic Exchange Service), Dariya graduated with distinction a master degree in chamber music area with Prof. Jens Wagner at the "Hochschule für Musik und Theater Hamburg" (2018).



ARSEN ASANOV - was born in 1987 in Melitopol, Ukraine and is a classical guitarist and composer and laureate of numerous international guitar competitions. He is a graduate of the Kharkov National University of Arts in guitar performance in the class of the esteemed professor, Vladimir Dotsenko. As part of his musical development in Ukraine, he has also worked with many great teachers such as Alexander Cherkes, Oleg Popitaylenko and Victor Palamarchuk. From 2008 to 2011, he has worked as a teacher at the faculty of arts in Melitopol State Pedagogical University and in the College of Culture. Many of his students have successfully performed in guitar competitions and festivals and some of which are now continuing a professional career as performers. His concert program includes ethnic music, classical and contemporary guitar repertory, and some of his own compositions. Most of his written pieces are miniatures for guitar, but also there are suites and works for guitar duo. The style could be defined as a mixture of classical and fingerstyle guitar music. Since 2012 to 2016 he has been studied with prof. Marco Tamayo / prof. Matthias Seidel at the "Universität Mozarteum", Salzburg, Austria and graduated both Master and Postgraduate degree with distinction. In December 2015 the compilation of best pieces written before 2014 "When the Time Stops" was published. An additional CD recorded at the "Ton-Studio" (Mozarteum, Salzburg) came out at the same time. As the grant holder of the DAAD (German Academic Exchange Service), Arsen graduated with distinction his master degree in chamber music area with Prof. Jens Wagner at the "Hochschule für Musik und Theater Hamburg" (2018).
